Full-text	1 The public never learns the truth about a campaign while it is in progress. It would be a superhuman task to correct all of the errors about one’s candidacy, for misrepresentations emanate from friend as well as foe. I am anxious however that the more glaring misstatements about my campaign for gov[enor] be challenged and I record these facts that at least my children may not be puzzled about some of the things they will read in the future years about the campaign of 1928 and 1930.
