                                                                                                                                                                                                                             The Brooks Hays Memorial Christian Fellowship Award
                                                                                                                                                                                                                            The Brooks Hays Award is presented annually by Second Baptist Church to selected persons who have applied the Christian faith in the arena of public service in a profound way.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Begun in 1982, the Brooks Hays Award was established to recognize and encourage the application of the gospel in public service and to provide an ongoing memorial to Brooks Hays, Arkansas Congressman for 16 years and former member of Second Baptist Church.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Recipients include:
